Hotfoon
Hotfoon offers the easiest and cheapest way to call via the Internet. Using PacketCell's LTP technology and sophisticated speech coding techniques it offers voice quality far superior to the traditional telephone system. Unlike other VoIP services which require time consuming software download and installation procedure, Hotfoon's micro-dialer typically downloads in one second and is ready to go without any installation.
LTP, our technology
The LTP based user agents are easily customized, skinned to suite various customer needs and deployment necessities. They are available for all versions of 32-bit Microsoft Windows like 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME and XP. Hotfoon user agents are also available for Microsoft Pocket PC.
The LTP protocol and its associated services were developed by PacketCell Networks with over 75 man years of effort. This protocol offers substantial benefits for deployments in thin user agents and loss oriented networks.

Few features of the LTP are:
- Small footprint The LTP stack is just 10kb in size. It is easily ported to a wide-variety of hardware and operating systems.
- Low resource requirements. The LTP requires only UDP to operate. It does not require a complete TCP/IP stack. This is useful in small devices like wireless phones.
- Traverses corporate NATs and proxies.
- Easy setup It takes less than 10 seconds to install an LTP user agent. The LTP user agents are typically less than 100 kb is size, making them easily deployed over the Web.
- Solid authentication and billing mechanism. LTP offers MD5 based 128-bit authentication of users as well as billing records.
- Interoperates with SIP based phones/devices through a LTP-SIP proxy
